Good starter watch for someone wanting a 'real' movement not quartz. Automatic with a crystal back so you can see the movement. Black sporty face but not too cluttered. Decent brown leather strap. All in all a good package.

I had been looking for an easy to read watch with no battery to replace an old Seiko automatic watch. I always liked the divers watch look and how easy they are to read night or day, so started looking for a Seiko Kinetic. I came across the Eco drive Divers and after reading a few reviews on them and seen photos, I really took a liking to the Promaster 200m, I decided to get the one with the black face as I prefer the retro look, also love the fact that the crown is at 4pm, this stop the crown digging in your wrist. The rubber strap is fine, but I wanted to give the watch more of a retro and classy look, so I have fitted a steel engineer bracelet. Love it. I had the watch for a week now and this keeping up with my phone, very accurate. I also love the blue-ish markers and hands at night. No battery to change ever, a great watch! First time I have used firstclasswatches, and I they have given me a first class service , could not quite price match another seller but got very close to it, so I went with them as they did inspire me confidence in our e-mail exchanges and read reviews .I had to take a couple of photos to show you, love it!

This promaster is a well built iso compliant 200m water resistant antimagnetic 4800A/m diver with superb finish.
Its 43mm diameter (excluding crown) 12mm thick brushed stainless steel case wears comfortably even on small wrists and fits under a shirt's sleeve with a NATO strap, the combo weighing just above 80 grams.
The 60 click unidirectional bezel is easy to operate with or without gloves.
With an efficient anti-reflective mineral glass it is extremely legible by day and night with excellent lume.
Its "set and forget" solar quartz movement shows great precision (less than +1 second in the first week).
All these features at such a reasonable price makes this fantastic good-looking rugged toolwatch a true bargain !

Cette promaster est une plongeuse de qualité répondant aux normes iso étanche à 200m et antimagnétique 4800A/m à la finition superbe.
Son boîtier en acier inox brossé de diamètre 43mm (hors couronne) et  d'épaisseur 12mm est confortable même pour les petits poignets et passe sous les manchettes de chemise montée sur bracelet NATO pour un poids d'à peine plus de 80 grammes.
La couronne unidirectionnelle 60 clicks s'utilise facilement avec ou sans gants.
Dotée d'un verre minéral anti reflets efficace, elle est très lisible de jour comme de nuit grâce à son excellente luminescence.
Il suffit de la régler et la porter, la précision de son mouvement à quartz solaire (moins de +1 seconde la première semaine) fait qu'on n'a plus besoin de s'en soucier.
A ce prix là, cette extraordinaire toolwatch robuste et au style indémodable est une véritable bonne affaire !

Excellent watch as described. The face is very clear and easy to read.

its light is poor -the hands you cannot see the time clearly -and no date on it?all in all very poor to see anything clearly !

I recently bought a Citizen Eco Drive Divers watch from first class watches and as the name surge ts, the watch and service I received was first class, I got a discount off an already discounted price, which was very nice and with free next day delivery, I couldn't be happier with my purchase, I would buy again from First Class watches in a heart beat.

Ok, so to set the scene I have *some* watches, but by no means am I a massive watch person. I have one home watch and two work watches, none of these are more than maybe £200 (which I consider to be alot!) and none are classic, automatic timepieces. I like watches that require little or no fussing, and look good. Simple principles really.

And with those simple principles in mind I sought to rid myself of a watch I can't really read very easily. I currently have my "brown" watch as a Rotary Chronospeed, which is essentially a homage to the Brietling Navtimer. A beautiful chronograph with a cream face. Problem being with a lack of colour contrast and being slightly colour blind, I found it amost impossible to tell the time without a long hard stare.

So I decided that clean and simple was the way to go. Bauhaus.

In steps the Braun BN0021.

This is a clean, well built and elegant watch. To try and communicate it's looks I gave thought to the type of person that would typically wear it:

Swiss Architects.

Yes this is a Swiss architects watch alright, you could take the face, scale it up and mount it on a train platform somewhere in Basel and it would not at all look out of place. Add to that the very well crafted and immediatley comfortable leather strap, the hidden pin placement and the almost perfect sizing of the face and numbers to the overall size of the watch and I'm in Bauhaus heaven.

Do I have ANY misgivings, yes a few:

1. Everyone says "Braun? You mean the guys that make razors?" - Yes, little did I know that they have been well known in watches and clocks for many a year. A good friend and massive watch fanatic steared me towards them.

2. I miss being able to check the date - I never realised how much I look at my wrist for the date, as well as the time until I can't do it anymore. Perhaps I will get used to it, perhaps not. Time will tell.

But, in truth, the misgivings are small, the design is beautiful and elegant and the build quality is faultless.

This might be my first Braun watch, but it will certainly not be my last.

Well where to start... my bf absolutely loved this watch i bought for his bday. Very manly looking and a sligtly big watch. Which is good as my bf is a tall stocky guy so suited him well. Didn't look lost on his wrist. Lovely feel to it and not too heavy. I cant believe how cheap this website is. Its about time people did deals on exspensive things like watches. Deffo buying my next present on here for christmas. Quick delivery and very quick response on email. Looked just like it said on the tin :) thank you
